Seaming Chucks
The seaming chuck is a tool used in the canning industry to secure a can end during the double seaming process. It acts as an anvil, supporting the end and body against the pressure of the seaming rolls. Ensuring proper fitment of the seaming chuck requires an extremely precise measuring and manufacturing process to eliminate sealing errors without damaging the can’s end.
Lip Profile
Chuck lip profiles are ideally crafted to can manufacturer specifications. Utilizing our patented End Scan Analysis process, we ensure that our seaming chucks have the proper fitment interference. Seaming chucks are available with both smooth and textured lips.
