Materials
AIT uses the highest quality materials available in the market to produce our seamer tooling, frequently verifying materials from different suppliers. The most common base materials are stainless steel (440C, 15-5, D2) and Stellite, also known as Stoody. We work closely with our customers to verify the best base material and coating for their application, ensuring tooling for low maintenance, long lifetime, and durability.
